Triggers

The factory trigger group gets the job done, but it leaves measurable performance on the table. The stock trigger has significant pre-travel, a heavy pull weight, and a long reset, all of which add up to slower split times and reduced accuracy under pressure. A quality aftermarket trigger is the single highest-impact upgrade you can make to a 10/22.

TANDEMKROSS triggers are refined by years of competitive shooter feedback into something distinctly differed from many other aftermarket options. Each one features a flat-faced, textured shoe for consistent finger placement and replaces the factory return spring with a torsion spring for a smoother, more consistent pull. Every trigger is also tested to pass SAAMI drop-safe and jar-off standards at its factory pull weight, so it won't fire if dropped or bumped. The Manticore Trigger Assembly represents the top of the lineup, delivering a short reset and competition-ready pull weight in a drop-in 10/22 trigger.

Magazines

The standard 10/22® rotary magazine holds 10 rounds. In Steel Challenge, that means more reloads per stage and every reload is time lost. Moving to a higher-capacity magazine is one of the most direct ways to cut stage time without changing how you shoot.

The TANDEMKROSS DoubleKross Magazine doubles the round count to 20 while maintaining the exact same footprint and drop-in compatibility as the factory BX-1. Most aftermarket high-capacity options for the 10/22 require an extended stick magazine that changes the feeding dynamics and significantly increases bulk. The DoubleKross keeps the rotary design that doubles the capacity with the same reliable feeding in a small, convenient package. Shipping restrictions apply to standard-capacity-restricted states.

Magazine Releases

The stock magazine release is small, making it a liability for rapid mag changes under stress or with gloves.

TANDEMKROSS offers two extended magazine release options for the 10/22: the skeletonized magazine release, a low profile, textured aluminum upgrade, and the Fireswitch Extended Magazine Release, which goes further with a dual-lever design that allows the shooter to use their trigger finger to drop the magazine by pushing forward or back without breaking their grip.

Charging Handles

The factory charging handle is narrow and difficult to grip quickly, especially with sweaty hands or gloves or in cold weather. It works for casual use, but it could pose a threat in the event of faulty ammo needing to be cleared while on the clock.

TANDEMKROSS charging handles are significantly larger for positive control of the bolt under any condition. The Advantage Charging Handle adds a left-side charging handle so right-handed shooters can clear, lock, or charge the bolt without taking their shooting hand off the grip, along with an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting optics. Both are machined aluminum with a finish that holds up to regular competition use.

Compensators

.22LR generates minimal recoil, but any and all muzzle rise can still impact the time it takes to get back on target, particularly at the speeds competitive shooting requires. A compensator ports gas upward at the muzzle, getting your shots back on target faster.

TANDEMKROSS compensators thread onto standard 1/2"×28 muzzles. The Game Changer PRO and Game Changer PRO Squared feature ports that redirect gas away from the shooter's target picture. The PRO, PRO Squared, and Steam Demon also feature coatings that increase durability and lifespan.

Barrels

Heavy barrels often prove less than ideal for fast-paced action-style competition. Excess barrel weight affects swing speed from one target to the next, fatigue over a long match, and the overall balance of the rifle. While many lightweight options exist, most limit or eliminate options for installing optics, iron sights, or other accessories.

TANDEMKROSS's 10/22® barrels feature one of a kind construction and design to deliver dramatic weight reductions without sacrificing the rigidity needed for accuracy. They're great for multiple rimfire competition divisions as they accept the TANDEMKROSS Freedom Picatinny Rail for optics mounting as well as the Eagle Eye M-LOK® Fiber Optic Sights. While many lightweight aftermarket barrels sacrifice accuracy or utility to achieve portability, TANDEMKROSS barrels punch above their weight by maintaining impressive accuracy and offering exclusive options for M-LOK® accessory compatibility.

Bolt Assemblies & Other Key Parts

TANDEMKROSS offers the KrossFire Bolt, a fully assembled replacement bolt, including the Fire Starter Titanium Firing Pin for reduced lock time and corrosion resistance and the Eagle's Talon Extractor for improved case extraction and reliability. Each component is a direct drop-in replacement. Combined, they address common sources of reliability issues without requiring complicated gunsmithing. The firing pin, extractor, and other key parts are also available on their own or in a convenient Essential Maintenance Kit for routine tuneups. The Extractor Service Tool also makes the removal and installation of your extractor easier than ever.

Small parts can often make for big life improvements. Things like the Shock Block Bolt Buffer, or either the Upgraded Receiver or Magazine Release KrossPins are great examples. While they may not seem exciting on the surface, they improve the takedown and reassembly of your rifle big time.

Safety

Push button or cross-bolt safeties are fairly standard for a large number of rifles including the 10/22®. While commonly used, they can at times be ergonomically awkward. Switching from safe to fire and back with a cross-bolt safety may often require the use of both hands or having to break your grip with your shooting hand.

Chassis & Stocks

Stocks and chassis are a subject rife with debate as everyone has their own opinion and preference. We see them as tools, the right one of which depends entirely on the job you aim to perform with it.

The TANDEMKROSS Manticore X Lower is a machined aluminum housing that replaces the factory stock entirely and directly integrates the fire control group to shave dead weight and simplify assembly. Reimagining the idea of 10/22® trigger packs and chassis to function more similar to an AR lower, the Manticore X supports AR-style pistol grips and the user's choice of picatinny or buffer tube stocks or braces. The Manticore X Lower is also compatible with both standard fixed barrel or Takedown 10/22® and 22 Charger™ models. The Manticore X Lower replaces the factory trigger pack and stock or chassis configuration.
