Finally received it today after USPS drove it all over the eastern 1/2 of America. It works much better than the original that came with the rifle. A note to the Tandemkross guys...don't ship with USPS..they suck!! Go with UPS or Fed Ex.

Fireswitch Extended Mag Release
Nice product , innovative design ,Well built. However the price point is about $15 to $20 too high. Hard to justify buying this product in comparison to what else is out in the market at a much lower price, approximately 50%. Works well for bench shooting but in the field it got snagged on me several times and dumped a loaded 25 round mag. Best takeaway , a very robust ,interesting design ,but functionally not the all purpose mag release that it was envisioned to be.

Fireswitch Extended Mag Release
Easy install and works very well. I like that the lever is now easier to find without looking, and that it releases with either a push or a pull. Clever! Perhaps a bit pricy, even on sale at $50, but over the life of the rifle, worth every penny.

Fireswitch
I recently purchased a 10 / 22 Backpacker, a great gun and lots of fun to shoot, with the only complaint being that the stock mag release and the holdback for the bolt weren't designed to be smooth and instinctive. You really need to "reach" for both the mag release and bolt holdback to operate the gun. I installed both a Fireswitch and the Tandemkross bolt keeper and they make a huge difference. With them you can actually "operate" the gun. Great purchase and an easy 5 stars.
