The TANDEMKROSS Barrel Retaining V-Block replaces the stock part with a precision cut aircraft grade aluminum unit - 55% lighter than the stock stainless version! - A must have for a lightweight build!
 
The TANDEMKROSS V-Blocks secures the barrel to the receiver with increased stiffness and rigidity, eliminating the barrel droop (or barrel sag) that is commonly seen over time with a stock v-block. The factory V-Block can to pull the barrel down - the [TK] V-Blocks is designed to provide a camming action that applies an upward force vector -the more torque you apply to the V-Block, the more upwards force applied to the barrel. The upgrades v-block assists with free-floating the barrel from the stock. This enhancement alows for better accuracy with more consistent shot placement. 
 
This part will fit virtually any aftermarket receiver and barrel made to stock spec - without any gun-smithing needed.

    Shipped really fast as usual and the product is as advertised. TK is changing the 10/22 1 rifle at a time.

    Brownells receiver/TK Spitfire barrel/Holosun red dot. Using Brownells-supplied V-block, gun grouped very low at 50’ requiring nearly all “up” adjustment to obtain zero. Using TK V-block, and with Holosun elevation set at the center of its adjustment range, 1.5” low at 50’, easily corrected. This block corrects barrel droop.

    good design,workd well. however counter bore is not large enough for socket head screws for ease and proper assembly. poor follow through and QC on that one!!!

    TK V-block for build

    I ordered this lightweight vblock and an aftermarket lightweight barrel. On my scale the stock 10/22 barrel (no sights) and vblock weighed 1lb 13.5 oz The new vblock and lightweight barrel weighed 15.5 oz. The Magpul MOE-x22 stock is light but swapping the insert from pencil barrel to bull barrel reduced even more weight. I paired it with a butler creek featherlight sling with Outdoor Connection Brute Sling Swivel's that are also super light .the rifle practically weighs nothing. I could probably remove the stock pic rail but it’s so light I probably won’t.

    Barrel retaining v-block for Ruger 10/22.

    V-Block is made sturdy and holds barrel in place better than other v-blocks that I have purchased. I recommend it for any 10/22. Be sure and note the installation.
