Initially did not fit on Brownells bolt. Some minor filing was needed and then it worked as advertised

Another Great TandemKross Tool, But .

Posted by Leland Higaki on 4th Nov 2023

This tool works as advertised, but I have to say, don t get one. Instead, for $6 more, get the Gunsmither tool. It s an easier to use tool PLUS it takes care of another, more frustrating task, installing the bolt and recoil spring rod!

    Extractor Tool

Just got mine in and let me tell you if you like to work on your own 10/22's this is a Must have and I say Must. Found these on Tandamkros's site they also sell another one does the same thing but for a little more money. Watched a few videos on their site and they used one for replacing a few items on a Ruger 10/22 and from that I realized that I needed it and so glad I got one. Tandomkros makes great products, I love them everything that I have bought from them. Their videos are the very best they show you just what you need to do to replace just about anything they sell. You will learn more about replacing anything on a 10/22 from their videos than on any other site.

    Well Almost

Posted by Greg Pettis on 5th Jul 2023

The idea of this tool is simple, basically works well, and a similar one for the MK series pistols would be fantastic, as the MK extractors are much harder to remove than the 10/22, even using the older {TK] MK tool. I read where [TK] had tested this on every possible 10/22 bolt variation available. Well, almost. Apparently mine was yet another variant. For mine the tool came up about .100 short, from locking onto the rear of the bolt. The only reason I suspect is that mine has a Power Custom plunger Spring in it, because it corrected a chronic Fail To Eject issue, which while much more stiff, may also be about .100 longer when bottomed out, and thus preventing the tool from working in mine, as it was designed. I ground the ear lobe off of mine, with a Dremel, which is about .100, and the tool worked great after that.

Extractor Service Tool for Ruger 10/22

This tool works great. However, I had to file the round end down to make it fit the Ruger bolt. Once that was done, the tool works great!
