Shock Block Bolt Buffer
The TK shock block bolt buffer was a perfect fit and performed flawlessly. Even after several removals for cleaning my Ruger 10/22 takedown rifle, the bolt buffer fit snug and required just slight hand pressure with a plastic punch to remove. Great improvement from the original metal bolt buffer in noise reduction. Highly recommend.

Getting this to enter the distal hole can be an exercise in frustration. Perhaps slightly beveling that end of the buffer may help. Once in, functions well.

Bolt Buffer
Works great. Had a really tight fit and you can definitely tell the difference compared to the stock metal buffer.

Perfect fit
Just like the Ruger was but a much better fit!

Bolt buffer
Bevel the edges with sandpaper, lube, tap in with small nylon hammer.

Bolt Stop Pin
Noticeable difference in the cycling of the bolt! The hard slam of the bolt no longer can be felt

Shock Block
I installed two of these in two different 10/22 rifles. One went in easier than the other, but I was able to get both in with relative ease. I can't say for sure, but I think the variance is in the rifle itself. One of my rifles the stock bolt buffer slid out instantly by just turning the receiver on its side. The other I had to put some effort into removing. Great, inexpensive upgrade.
