The Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® is designed to improve the bolt lock back function by offering an extended and widened profile.
Simplifying the bolt lock operation, the Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® will allow the user to easily find the bolt lock by feel with either hand from either side of the gun.
Once installed, the Bolt Keeper will also allow the operator to release the bolt in a slingshot motion by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases.

I can’t own a 10/22 without putting this in them anymore. You can modify the factory one, but it won’t have the knob that makes it 100%

Compatibility with Franklin Binary Trigger
This bolt keeper is great. It was easy enough to install, though a *little* trickier with a Franklin Binary Trigger. My only complaints are that the version I received differs from the one in the installation video in that it is "finger tighten only" in that there is no allen screw, and thread locker is not an option if you ever intend to field strip the rifle, so I fear losing the knob. Otherwise, the rotating safety on the Franklin Binary setup touches the knob on the extended bolt keeper when in Binary mode. This doesn't seem to halt function of either, however, so not a huge deal and no fault of the folks at Tandemkross. Very good, solid, well made product that functions as advertised.

Extended Bolt Lock back with Knob
I've had a after market extended bolt release for 10 years or more but still had fiddle around to lock bolt back. decided to try this one because teaching my 12 year old grandson to shoot and found this is really nice upgrade, can now lock back with out feeling around and the knob is still tucked under the Stock out of the away

Bolt Lock
This works really well and much better than than the original. The only problem I had was this was going in a left hand trigger group and I to make a spacer for the bolt lock to function correctly.

The TK Bolt Keeper is a game changer!
A must have upgrade for your 10/22s. Incredibly functional, making it so easy to lock the bolt back and the sling release is so much better. I highly recommend this to anyone that owns a 10/22 or 10/22 Charger. The installation simple and looks sharp both in red and black!
