After fumbling with the original bolt lock I installed the Bolt Keeper. Great improvement with ease of use.

This is amazing. Especially for NRL22. The ease at engagement is so the way it should be. I have now put it in all of my 10/22’s and will be putting it in 2 I am building. If you’re tired of searching for the little metal tab - move this into your trigger group!!!

Did some upgrading of my 10/22 carbine. New barrel, stock, TK compensator, BX trigger. I’m a Ruger fan. This rifle is so much better with the bolt keeper. You have to fumble for rugers version. The TK it’s right there. I’ve had it for awhile, has worked well, it’s now in the BX. Love it, easy install. The video is well done.

This fixes probably the most frustrating thing about an otherwise great 10/22, the factory bolt lock is a real pain for me to easily work with, this bolt lock along with the extended bolt handle make the 10/22 function like most other weapons, lock back and release bolt to charge very easily. Excellent design and easy installation with good directions on line.

Okay, yes, this will be for one of my many Rugers, all but a few have it already.

It's money well spent. The standard bolt lock is an annoying vestige of stamped metal that is simply designed to reduce cost and, in turn, keep aftermarket companies in business. Psychologically, I guess I would rather pay the $30 to TK than have a higher list price from Ruger, and you get a choice of color. The bottom line is this modification makes the rifle more intuitive to use and probably safer.

Love how easy it is to lock bolt open just slight pressure on the red knob then just pull bolt back and release it to close, no fumbling for the factory release you don't need it toclose.

Make it so easy to engage the hold open. Great product Easy to install.
