Shock Block Bolt Buffer for Ruger® 10/22®

In the best of companies, with the best of employees, the best of processes, statistics still says occasionally it is possible that some "stuff" can still get out. It is what happens next that counts. Unfortunately the Shock Block I received was one of those statistical oops, in that it was cut more like a parallelogram than square on the ends as it should have been. Sending an email to [TK], the issues was quickly corrected with [TK] putting a replacement in the mail. That all said, these are great at turning that loud "CLUNK" every time the trigger is pulled, to a low thump, giving the action a more quality sound.

It's like shooting a totally different gun complety eliminates bolt strike on the pin , rifle shoots so smooth now

Don't have to deal with the stock one always falling out during disassembly

Makes it a little quiter,and im sure less stress on bolt,cant wait for suppressor

Basically just bought this while I was shopping for the cross pins for the trigger group because it was only $5. Was a little skeptical about how it would affect the reliability of the 10/22, but I shot supers and subs using the 10 and 25 round magazines and ran into no issues with this piece. Took off ear pro to see if I could notice the difference. Definitely reduces sound, especially when using subs.

This is an extra one. I already replaced the bolt block pin (OEM) with the Shockblock and am noticing a lot less impact of the bolt coming back while shooting. This will save both the Bolt and the Receiver from slamming metal on metal damage and wear.

Glad to no longer have to search for the bolt buffer when taking the 10/22 apart for servicing at home. Can you imagine how bad it'd be out in the field?

Vastly improves recoil performance and sound. Easily the best $5 I've ever spent on a gun upgrade.
