Shock Block Bolt Buffer for Ruger® 10/22®

This is one of those parts that should have come with the rifle. It works as advertised. It is a bit tricky to install. The leading end needs to be chamfered slightly to make it through the second side. It can be done with sandpaper.

Recently purchased a replacement extractor and decided to buy an upgraded bolt buffer to throw in while I had my plinker apart. Installation wasn't too difficult, but the effect was worth the money - made my 10/22 much quieter. I would recommend this product.

Fits in pretty snug it took a minute or two to get it to go in but seems like a high quality material.

These are worth every penny. I put them in every 10/22 I own. Effect is especially noticed if you've had a good trigger job done. Softens the rearward "slam" of the bolt, as designed.

It's cheap enough. But not sure it's needed. I don't feel a difference. But it can't hurt.

Was a little difficult to fit, so I slightly heated one end with a lighter and rolled it in my fingers. It fit correctly after that, and was easy to do. The gun runs a little smoother after eliminating metal-metal contact. Well worth the small price.

If the orginal gets to much use and gets to where it falls out replace it with this product works great

Again, as with the Hive, this was my second replacement to a Ruger product with a TK product! I purchased a prior replacement buffer for my 10/22 Takedown Lite, the first was a clear flex plastic polymer part, extremely difficult to install after cleaning the upper. Thought I’d try the TK Shock Block, ordering it at the same time I ordered the Hive grip for my 22/45 MKIV Lite. I was not disappointed! Again, the TK option worked, easy to install and replace when cleaning the upper! I also ordered their replacement Kreoo-Pins to lock in the trigger block, another good move! First place to look in future replacement or upgrade parts will be TK!
