A nice item but I did have to sand the flat corner to get it started into the gun. It was easy to do and is nice to have.

Great buffer. Little hard to put on but it is there.

It works but I had to file the length down to make the receiver fit in the stock. This material does not file easily either but I guess that's good. You might want to try the 1/4 inch Nylon bolt and cut it down to fit. The Nylon may not last as long as this TK shockblock, but for a Nylon bolt pack of 3 for $1.50 I can make spares.

This part is giving me problems. All of the other parts went in with no problem. I figured I would give it another try the next time I take the gun down.

    Shock Buffer

This was not a "drop-in fit. It was a "drive in" fit in my receiver and was both difficult to install and to remove for cleaning. I don't know if it's my gun or the buffer but it's too tight.

I have one of these on my other 10-22,it helps with noise and softens recoil, however these are cut leaving a jagged edge and will not go through the holle easily. I had to take a sharp knife and bevel one end so that it would fit.

Great addition to the 10/22. No more slamming of metal to metal. Makes shooting a lot quieter and in turn things seem to run smoother. Original metal buffer fell out when tipped and this one was a bit snug. Got a perfect fit by putting a piece of sandpaper ( 100 grit I think) on the table and gently sanded the buffer its whole length while constantly rotating it. This is interesting material as the sanding did not tear it up or leave it rough and "furry". This one does not fall out but can still be removed by hand. Thanks TK.

Works great. A bit tough to install the first time. Had to sand a bit off the edge of the one end to help it in installation. But after that it works great. Would recommend it for all 10/22's and chargers.

A little tight to install through the second hole, but work great once you get it in. I lightly tapered the edge of the pin with sandpaper and guided it in the second hole with a small screw driver while tapping the pin. Also pulling the bolt back to the pin several times helped.
