Made in the USA with heat-treated billet steel, the KrossFire Bolt features a lateral retaining pin to prevent the firing pin from moving vertically. This ensures your firing pin only moves forwards and back as intended to provide more consistently positive primer strikes.
Additionally, the KrossFire Bolt also comes with TANDEMKROSS’s Fire Starter Titanium Firing Pin pre-installed! Being made of titanium makes the Fire Starter highly durable to last you a long time. This titanium firing pin is also lighter than steel to help reduce lock time and allow for faster consecutive shots on target.
A long-lasting bolt deserves long-lasting parts, so the KrossFire also comes with the TANDEMKROSS hardened tool steel Eagle’s Talon Extractor pre-installed. Highly resistant to wear and aggressively hooked to confidently secure cartridges, the Eagle’s Talon helps to reduce failures to extract.
The KrossFire’s new look offers more than just a good looking finish. The black PVD coating offers your precisely machined bolt with a protective coating to keep it running for as long as possible.
Lastly, the geometry of this upgraded bolt is incredibly important. The rear face is carefully radiused to provide a more forgiving point of contact with the hammer allowing for smoother cycling and charging. 10/22® fans also frequently get the headspace of their bolt reworked for optimal results, so we designed ours with those figures already in mind so no additional work needs to be done!

A work of beauty
Added this bolt to my Ruger Charger. After running some rounds through I'll never look back. Smoother and works better with BX Trigger and bolt release. A true piece of craftsmanship.

The extractor was too sharp. It was hanging up on the rim of the softer brass. Would not eject a fired or unfired case. Helped my misfire issue, working great now.

Bolt
Fired fewer than 100 rounds. Ejector broke. Emailed TK. They replaced free of charge. Just received new ejector (plus another one I purchased to have as a back up). Replacement ejector that TK sent won't eject rounds correctly. I put in the back up that I purchased (from Ruger) and it works fine.

Smooth as Silk
I replaced my stock bolt in my 50th Anniversary 10/22. its amazing how much smoother the avtion is. it cycles faster & it has consistent firing pin strikes. ive put over 1k of rounds thru the gun with no FTE's. I highly recommend this product. when I start my custom build this will be the bolt I use!

Great Bolt Upgrade
I finally got my upgraded 10/22 to the range and the new bolt functioned fine. I put about 300 ads of bulk ammo through it and not 1 jam. Workmanship is great.

TK 10/22 bolt
There is simply no comparison between the TK bolt and the factory bolt. If you shoot a 10/22, do yourself a favor and get this upgrade!!!!! The minute you lay the two bolts side by side you will notice the difference and understand why it's a needed improvement.

Competitive shooter
My granddaughter had been using a stock Ruger bolt in her 10/22 but had been having one to two failure to fire malfunctions in each rimfire challenge match, even with quality ammunition. Since switching to the Krossfire bolt, the ftf's have been cut to zero. The tighter headspace means every firing pin strike is identical to every other strike. It wasn't so with the factory bolt. Great product. I highly recommend it to anyone that demands consistent positive ignition.

Very nice bolt!
I ordered the KrossFire bolt for a project I was working on and ordered a Kidd bolt at the same time for another project. I hadn't decided which one was going in the Takedown and which was going in the regular 10/22, but when they came in, the Takedown was the best choice. The bolt is very well made. The dimensions are perfect and it cycles very well. It's also been able to feed anything I throw at it in the past week, from bulk-pack ammo to SK and Eley Match. I've only had it a week, but I've fed about 500 rounds through the rifle and it's been great. I'm very glad I got in on this bolt early, as it's good value for what you receive. I highly recommend it and will likely be getting another one for another 10/22 project I have coming up.
