The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.
The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

"Guardian" Bolt Release Plate for Ruger 10/22
This bolt release plate does exactly what it is supposed to do. It makes the Ruger 10/22 class of firearms (I put it on a Ruger 10/22 Charger) eaiser to operate, and eaiser on the fingers. Highly recommended. And now I would like to write about the TANDEMKROSS customer service. I took advantage of the TANKEMDKROSS free shipping offer before Christmas 2021. It was only an order for two items and it arrived the Wednesday before Christmas. Unfortunately, one of the two items ordered was not in the order and something else was shipped instead. I telephoned TANDEMKROSS and spoke with a nice lady about the problem, and was assured it would be taken care of immediately. And it was. The correct item arrived two days later - on Christmas Eve. Now, that folks, is customer service. A Five-Star rating for the "Guardian" Bolt Release Plate, and a Five-Star rating for Customer Service.

The Guardian Bolt Release Plate functions very smoothly, improves the operation of my grandson's Appleseed rifle. TK's works so smoothly, I might replace my own home-modded release plate.

10/22 bolt release
You can't help but wonder why Ruger didn't do this in the first place. No more dicking around with a two-handed bolt release. The Guardian took my gunsmith moments to install, and now shooting the 10/22 is a WHOLE lot more fun, not to mention safer... and for around $10? An actual no brainer. Many thanks to my gunsmith for recommending it AND TK!
