The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.
The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

Wonderful upgrade
I was very unhappy when I bought my 10/22 with the stock bolt release system. I was thinking that I didn’t know how much I would use the rifle because it was such a pain. This was until I found the tandemkross bolt release. This is by far the best upgrade you can’ buy. It was easy to install and great quality. Thank you so much for a great products! My only negative is the shipping. Tandemkross was great but using the postal service is a huge mistake. If you buy this great product just pay for ups or you might see you package for 6 weeks.

Bolt Release - Working Well
Works well, and is easy to install. For those who have not messed with trigger assemblies, note that this was my first time doing such, and it turned out to be pretty straightforward, as per any of the online tutorials.

Just what I’ve been wanting
I just couldn’t get used to the stock 1022 bolt release, it was always an unnecessary hassle. The guardian changes the 1022 bolt release to the way I would have wanted it originally. I am very happy with it. Installation was not difficult, thanks to the instructional video.

Must Have Upgrade
A must-have upgrade for the 10/22 that should come stock, but unfortunately doesn't. Allows your 10/22 to do what it says on the tin: It lets the operator release the bolt by pushing back on the charging handle and letting it fly forward without touching the bolt release itself. Paired with an extended charging handle it makes loading intuitive and stupid simple.

Guardian bolt release review
I ordered the Guardian bolt release plate as an after thought to a rebuild of my Ruger 10-22, and am extremely happy I did. This was the least expensive part I replaced, and the best part I replaced. The Guardian was simple to replace, and works, yes WORKS! This is how Ruger should have engineered the 10-22, simple yet very effective! Anyone with a 10-22 should replace this, and be glad they did.
