The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.

The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

    This is a must have for the 10/22. Having to manually hold the OEM release is a pia. This is for my 2nd 10/22, so I have been using this part for years on my 10/22 TD.

    An absolute must for a Ruger 10/22. Quality drop in part or trying to Drexel the OEM plate...for such a small price tag doing it and possible issues involved its a no Brainerd to buy this plate. 2 mins to install and fixes the worst feature on the gun.

    I bought a used Ruger 10/22 and immediately fell out of like with the OEM release. I ordered this since it was an affordable and necessary upgrade and I am very satisfied. The finish is great and it installed in minutes. I recommend this if you find it difficult to release the bolt and only want to use one hand.

    I received and installed the release plate a few days ago and I just got back from the range. It works perfectly and fixes a really irritating issue with the 10/22. Best part is it's my wife's gun and now she isn't bothering me every two minutes to fix the gun while I'm practicing with my handguns. Follow the install instructions exactly. FWIW, I put tape on the outside of the assembly housing to keep the pins intact and where they belong while putting assembly back together
