The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.
The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

Very handy
Easy install and works really well. I bought one for each of my guns. It is nice to be able to just pull back on the bolt and release it.

Works as advertised
First I want to say that all the products I've bought from Tantemkross has been excellent and they continue to impress me with their continuous product innovations & improvements. I bought the Guardian Bolt Release and easily installed it especially having no Gunsmithing experience. I made one small error which cause the bolt release not to work properly, but reviewing the video again, I saw my error and now it works as advertised. Great products you can't go wrong buying from Tandemkross.

This part should come standard with the Ruger 10/22 model rifles, but it doesn't. Just buy it !

So nice to not have the Ruger "release / un-release" fumble for the bolt!! Guardian is easy to install just follow the online instructions and video. 4 Stars because it seems that the only way to catch the bolt in the open position now is with the safety in the fire position

I really like the way it functions. Installation was a no-brainer, very simple. It functions as described. The only con is that when the bolt is locked back if you bang the butt of the gun or jar the gun in any way the bolt will release by itself. That's not a big deal although I would prefer to only have the bolt release when I want it to release with my hand. I can live with that but it's just something I didn't expect. Other than that I am pleased with it. I love the one-handed operation to release the bolt.

With all the different Ruger 10/22 "enhancement" parts available, this "Guardian" Bolt Release Plate has to be the best. It makes a world of difference and takes a three-step process to a one-step process when releasing the bolt. I highly recommend it. More importantly, though, is the outstanding customer service given my TandemKross. The prices are highly competitive and, unlike other sites, shipping is so fast that everything I order has been received in three to four days. You can't ask for better service. I won't buy my gun parts anywhere else - thank you, TandemKross!

Excellent piece. Very handy especially when wearing gloves. Much easier than reaching past the extended mag release. Would highly recommend.
