The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.
The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

Guardian bold release for Ruger 10/22
Very easy to install. I am new to guns and wanted to see if I could do this myself. I watched the video tutorial and it went super easy. Like my Ruger even better now that I have bolt release plate. Thanks TandemKross

Why Ruger doesn't already include this updated bolt release plate is beyond me. It makes bolt release easy peasy !! A must have !

bolt release plate
GREAT upgrade to the factory release.The first thing I notice was the excellent quality of the fit and finish of the plate. It was as good or even better then the Ruger release. Took about two minutes to install and worked perfect. No more trying to release the bolt now just pull back the bolt a little and let go the bolt lever. Also bought their magazine assembly tool and it was also great quality and made turning the tension nut very easy. Great products TK.

Bolt release
Absolutely the best item to buy for a 10/22. Shipping was very fast and the part is as described. Don't waste your time trying to file and alter the original when you can get this in a couple of days and know that it's right.

Another TK Must Have
I have (3) Ruger 1022s and all have a TK Bolt Release installed. The TK Bolt Release makes it so easy to release the bolt after I lock it back. When I’m ready to shoot, just a slight tug on the bolt handle and the bolt snaps into battery. You don’t need a Guardian to appreciate shooting the 1022 but it helps you enjoy shooting your 1022. They are simple to install and a cheap must have for your rifle.

Get it
Not sure why Ruger doesn’t have them operate like this, other than extra safety. Easy 5 minute install, easier than modding the stock catch. Why is this not on YOUR 10/22 yet?
