The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.

The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

    Make 10/22 bolt release so easy and lock back by depressing button on trigger Guard just like original; however, release is instantly, unlike factory original. No more fighting to get slide-bolt released. Just pull it slightly. Quality product.

    I didn't know this modification was even available. I was exploring the TK website for the first time and discovered it. Needless to say I bought one and installed it. Works as advertised. Others have said Ruger should have made it this way from the start, I agree. I highly recommend installing this mod on your rifle. Thanks Tandemkross.

    Installed within minutes. Made a Huge difference in charging the Rifle. No more fumbling with stock release. Would purchase again.

    Easy Fit

    Put two of these in two rifles with the Tandemkross bolt. Both my rifle and my Dad's there were no issues. On mine I have an extended mag release which was no issue as well. If you bump the rifle hard enough, the bolt will close, but that is unavoidable with any of the auto release setups.

    Brilliant. Simply brilliant. Works as promised. Incredibly easy to install. And it’s inexpensive. This should be mandatory on every 10/22.
