The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.

The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

    As is often noted, the factory bolt lock/ release plate is not good; requires a lot of fiddling to release bolt. This plate is an easy to install fix. Makes the bolt release work the way it should. Nice smooth action, no Hangul should or resistance. A game changer for sure

    What a sweet addition to the 10/22. It is a lot easier to lock the bolt open than using the stock plate. Now I wish it locked the bolt open after the last round was fired......always dreaming!

    Game-changer! This makes shooting the 10/22 much more enjoyable, taking this minor frustration out of the pleasure of shooting this gun.

    Great product! Do not know why Ruger doesn’t put this in every 10/22. Took me about 20 minutes to install. Followed the instructions from Tandemkross which made it easy. Bolt release worked on the first try! Also recommend other Tandemkross products such as magazine extensions, extended magazine release, etc.
