The 10/22® is a legendary rifle but just like any other gun, it has its own annoyances. Releasing the bolt on a factory original Ruger® 10/22® requires the operator to manipulate the bolt lock with one hand while releasing the bolt with the other.

The TANDEMKROSS Guardian Bolt Release Plate eliminates this manual and tedious step. Once installed it enables the operator to release the bolt in an intuitive way by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases. This part is a must have for any serious 10/22® owner.

    I rarely will give any reviews unless they are exceptional, this would be one! Works perfect. Easy to install. I would also recommend a new exstractor for your 10/22 only one stovepipe from ammo that the ruger does not like.

    WHY DOESN,T THE 10-22 COME WITH THIS FROM FACTORY? LEGAL REASONS PROBABLY ,BUT THIS MAKES THE GUN TOTALLY A PLEASURE TO SHOOT.NO MORE FUMBLING WITH BOLT CATCH AND RELEASE,CYCLE BOLT AND READY TO SHOOT-AND EASY ENOUGH INSTALL -YOU NEED THIS!

    As is often noted, the factory bolt lock/ release plate is not good; requires a lot of fiddling to release bolt. This plate is an easy to install fix. Makes the bolt release work the way it should. Nice smooth action, no Hangul should or resistance. A game changer for sure

    What a sweet addition to the 10/22. It is a lot easier to lock the bolt open than using the stock plate. Now I wish it locked the bolt open after the last round was fired......always dreaming!
