Shock Block bolt buffer
Although more expensive than going to the hardware store and buying a nylon bolt and cutting off the threads, this item does the job well and won't deteriorate and break down from the constant shock of the bolt hitting it. I highly recommend it.

Try my best to take care of my 10/22 while having fun at the range.

Nice improvement
No more metal to metal clack with these. Very easy to install.

Tandemkross Bolt Buffer 10/22
To be honest, I installed it and never thought about again. Since it came from Tandemkross, I naturally expect to work as advertised. I have never gotten a bad product from Tandemkross, and expect to visit them again soon.

Quieter shooting
I found my Ruger 10/22 to be pretty quiet already, but yes, I think there is a noticeable reduction in noise. It also makes sense for the bolt to not be banging up against hard metal. Installation was quick, but as others have said, pushing it through the second hole is a challenge and took some gentle "tapping" with the plastic handle of a screwdriver. Very satisfied!

Bolt buffer
Nice little addition. Does add some dampening. Almost impossible to install as is, though. Was able to finally get it in by beveling the edges a bit with a knife

Much better!
Out of all the upgrades I did to my 10/22, this one was a bit of a pain. None of that was due to the Tandemkross bolt, just tight tolerances and the nature of the upgrade. After a bit of oil and fiddling I was able to get the bolt in. No more slapping metal sound. Much quieter, recommended.

Great product
I can definitely feel the difference when I pull the bolt back. The material is soft enough but feels durable. It went in fairly easily and doesn't have any play.

Shock Block bolt buffer
The installation of the shock block bolt buffer is easy to install and did it while I was replacing and adding my Eagle Talon Extractor. Added the new shock block buffer, and the sound of the bolt hitting the pin is greatly reduced. It is a must have upgrade for your 10/22 carbine.
