got this too take apart the safety and it does work / saw on youtube how too make one / just bought it needed it fast at the time, wish they sold sold a safety kit for 10/22 here /safety detent plunger and spring kit

Very Handy Tool
This is a great tool to have for your 10/22. This make disassembly and reassembly a lot less frustrating. It seems like this is a tool that should come with the rifle. I even find I'm using it on other guns I own. Its so simple but a must have tool for maintaining your rifle. Glad I got it.

Handy tool
If you don't already have some kind of small punch, this helpful tool easily punches out the pins in your trigger assembly. Haven't used it to remove the safety, but I'm confident it would do the job.

Extremely handy for working with a Ruger 10/22. This makes upgrades and cleaning very easy.

There are some tools you can get the job done with out. And then there are some that are just cool to have, work and cut down on looking for more than just one gadget to get the job done. I like this one and recommend it. It’s worth the small $.
