Worth every penney
This is what you call a good investment! Great tool. Makes life a lot easier. I wish there was something like this for a Marlin Model 60.

Gunsmither Bolt Bar and Extractor Tool- Must have
I've purchased four of these in the past two years. I kept one myself and have given the others to friends, including my gunsmith. I have a 22 magnum and putting the bolt back in after breakdown without the tool was REALLY dificult. With it it's a breeze. Best $13 bucks I've ever spent on a firearm tool.

Bolt Bar Extractor
A much improved method of removing the bolt from a 10/22. I highly recommend this tool.

Simple and Functional
I bought this tool because I have an aftermarket bolt and recoil spring. The charging handle fits over an unclipped guide rod with the recoil spring compressed. I have become quite good at allowing the recoil spring to launch off the pin and across the room when I try to install the bolt. This tool has eliminated this problem and has made installing the bolt a breeze. It is a must have item that is extremely simple and functional. As an engineer, I like to define designs like this a "elegant" meaning as simple as possible and still performs the intended function very well. It is now one of my favorite tools in my box. Thanks TK.

The tool works fine. But, I ordered two of them because I wanted to give one to a friend of mine who has several Ruger 10/22 rifles. Only one tool was shipped and that's all that was charged to my card so that part is OK but when I emailed and asked about the 2nd tool which I would have paid for, I got no response and I emailed twice to try to resolve this. This lack of response to a customer concernes me....

My Thumbnails Love This
There's a trick/technique to replacing the bolt on a 10/22 without breaking your thumbnails. You could invest the time and frustration to figure it out or just get one of these tools. It's amazing and greatly simplifies bolt installation AND extractor removal. If you detail strip your 10/22, this tool in invaluable. Wish I would have had it years ago.
