Must have 10/22 Tool
This tool is awesome! It's the easiest way to remove or replace your Extractor! Mines found a permanent home in my 10/22 tool roll!

Extractor tool
The tool did help me remove the extractor but could never get it back far enough to lock in by itself

Works great on standard Ruger bolt. Did not fit on my KIDD bolt or my older Tandemkross bolt. I had to file down the end area of the tool that fits onto the back end of my KIDD bolt. After filing the end area of the tool, it now slides onto the back end of my KID bolt and now secures the tool on the bolt to remove the extractor and extractor pin and spring.

Extractor Tool For Ruger 10/22
Ordered on Friday Morning and received Monday Morning, quick shipping from NH to FL. I have 6 Ruger 10/22's (Don't ask why, I might tell you). I have tried to take the extractor, extractor spring, and plunger out without losing parts with about a 50% success rate. I finally gave up trying. However, after lunch today, I used the new Extractor Tool For Ruger 10/22. This tool is the "Cat's Meow". It makes the extractor, extractor spring, and plunger removal easy with no loss of parts. Reinstalling the parts is even easier, also, with no loss of parts. Six Ruger 10/22's got a proper cleaning today. Like I said before, this tool is the "Cat's Meow". I highly recommend it.
