The Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® is designed to improve the bolt lock back function by offering an extended and widened profile.
Simplifying the bolt lock operation, the Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® will allow the user to easily find the bolt lock by feel with either hand from either side of the gun.
Once installed, the Bolt Keeper will also allow the operator to release the bolt in a slingshot motion by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases.

Bolt Keeper
The hole to insert the pin is too small. I reamed it out with a 1/8 drill bit to get it to fit. Also, the video needs better lighting to get rid of the shadows. Black parts on a black receiver is difficult. Using a silver receiver would help all 10/22 videos.

TK bolt keeper
I have a couple of speed steel 10/22's outfitted with the boltkeeper. Pro- effortless bolt hold actuation. Con- one extra step during takedown of the rifle.

Great Bolt Lock Upgrade
This is a must have upgrade for any 10/22. Even with my small hands, it's still difficult to fiddle with the stock switch. This upgrade makes it feel like every other rifle now: simply pull and release. And having the knob is a huge help to actually engage the bolt lock. Installation was simple, and the parts are quality. Definitely worth the upgrade

Should Have Done It Sooner
Cheap , easy to install, and works flawlessly. I should have done over a year ago when I first saw it. If you have a 10/22 it is a must have. Now I need to get the TK trigger kit to finish it out.

Amazing "upgrade"
After numerous annoying bolt jams and taking the time to clear them, this upgrade makes my 10/22 run flawlessly ! Recommend this 100%. So easy to install too.

Must have for 10/22
Before installing this part I found it a struggle to operating the bolt catch while keeping my trigger finger at the ready. Since installing this part I can easily lock back the bolt and being able to release the bolt with the charging handle is an added bonus. Must have upgrade.
