The Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® is designed to improve the bolt lock back function by offering an extended and widened profile.
Simplifying the bolt lock operation, the Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® will allow the user to easily find the bolt lock by feel with either hand from either side of the gun.
Once installed, the Bolt Keeper will also allow the operator to release the bolt in a slingshot motion by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases.

spring torqueing device against pins
The device should mimic the original. The plate moves away from the the trigger housing side it should slide against. The shape of the original part prevented this torqueing. Very little operational difference. This would be an easy fix in the next production run. Every part of this forty year build is custom. This is the part problem that niggles me.

Bolt Keeper
The Bolt Keeper was a badly needed product it makes clearing your rifle after a stage much easier no more searching for that tiny hold open lever, It works great in my Volquartsen and a Ruger SR22R but won't work in a Kidd two stage trigger. Overall all a good addition for 10/22's.

The best modification to my Ruger 10/22. Now I just pull on the bolt to have it release. I don't have to fumble with the stock bolt holder.

bolt lock
I ordered three. These work great in Ruger triggers. Timmeny triggers are different, but might work with a Ruger spring. I like the way Timeny did there spring so hoping Tk will make one for Timmeny triggers
