The Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® is designed to improve the bolt lock back function by offering an extended and widened profile.
Simplifying the bolt lock operation, the Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® will allow the user to easily find the bolt lock by feel with either hand from either side of the gun.
Once installed, the Bolt Keeper will also allow the operator to release the bolt in a slingshot motion by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases.

Bolt keeper bolt lock
The original bolt lock was always difficult to engage especially when I got the extended magazine release. This makes it extremely easy to engage. Also has the quick release function. The only concern is the scew in handle. It has very short screw. I don't want to put loctite on it because it has to come off to field strip and clean the rifle. Very easy to install.

I think that is says something about this as I have installed one on every Charger/Carbine that I own, in several different barrel lengths and purposes.

TK Bolt Keeper/Release
This is amazing. Especially for NRL22. The ease at engagement is so the way it should be. I have now put it in all of my 10/22’s and will be putting it in 2 I am building. If you’re tired of searching for the little metal tab - move this into your trigger group!!!

Bolt Keeper.
Did some upgrading of my 10/22 carbine. New barrel, stock, TK compensator, BX trigger. I’m a Ruger fan. This rifle is so much better with the bolt keeper. You have to fumble for rugers version. The TK it’s right there. I’ve had it for awhile, has worked well, it’s now in the BX. Love it, easy install. The video is well done.

Frustration Eliminated
This fixes probably the most frustrating thing about an otherwise great 10/22, the factory bolt lock is a real pain for me to easily work with, this bolt lock along with the extended bolt handle make the 10/22 function like most other weapons, lock back and release bolt to charge very easily. Excellent design and easy installation with good directions on line.
