The Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® is designed to improve the bolt lock back function by offering an extended and widened profile.
Simplifying the bolt lock operation, the Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger® 10/22® will allow the user to easily find the bolt lock by feel with either hand from either side of the gun.
Once installed, the Bolt Keeper will also allow the operator to release the bolt in a slingshot motion by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle and the bolt simply releases.

This is a "Keeper"
If you own a Ruger 10/22 then you already know the stock bolt lock hurts your finger. It can be hard to find in pressure situations.You don't get slingshot action. This literally fixes all problems in one tiny package. Much needed part for your Ruger 10/22. Awesome job Tandamkross.

The factory bolt release is terrible. The bolt keeper Solved the problem of the difficult bolt release on my 10/22. Wish I would have purchased when I bought my Ruger takedown 2 years ago

Great product
It works great on my Volquartsen with a Wiland Chasis. Makes it a lot faster and easier to keep the bolt open.

Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger 10/22
Have used Tandemkross bolt lock plates for many years. While they are excellent this version of teh bolt lock works even better. Just as easy to install and a great improvement over the factory bolt lock and release.

Bolt keeper bolt lock
The original bolt lock was always difficult to engage especially when I got the extended magazine release. This makes it extremely easy to engage. Also has the quick release function. The only concern is the scew in handle. It has very short screw. I don't want to put loctite on it because it has to come off to field strip and clean the rifle. Very easy to install.

I think that is says something about this as I have installed one on every Charger/Carbine that I own, in several different barrel lengths and purposes.
