Introducing the Spitfire Lightweight Barrel for Ruger® 10/22®: engineered for shooters who demand reliability, modularity, and minimal weight. This full-length 16" barrel is the first 10/22® barrel to offer direct M-LOK® mounting capabilities.
The Spitfire’s impressive weight cuts are made possible by the barrel’s aggressively thin profile paired with an aluminum barrel shroud for tensioning. Cut for M-LOK®, the shroud itself is also lightweight while maintaining the barrel’s rigidity for accuracy. The barrel being turned and machined from premium stainless steel makes it ready to withstand serious round counts and a wide range of conditions. Its durability is further reinforced by the hardened chamber face.
At its opposite end, the muzzle features standard 1/2"x28 threads to support a variety of muzzle devices and ships with an installed thread protector and O-ring. With its sturdy construction, the Spitfire barrel still weighs a mere 11.5 ounces with the thread protector installed (11.2oz with no muzzle device).
Multiple color combinations are available for the Spitfire, as the barrel comes in three finishes—black PVD, gold (TiN), or stainless—and the anodized shroud comes in either black or red to match your build and provide a sleek profile.
Fully compatible with our Eagle Eye Fiber Optic Sight Set for M-LOK® by Rim/Edge, the Spitfire Lightweight Barrel delivers dependable performance in a lightweight, customizable package that’s built to last.

Incredible Barrel for the 10/22 Platform!
We just received and installed the Spitfire barrel on my son's competition rifle and all I can say is WOW - Tandemkross knocked it out of the park with this design! Out of the box I could tell this was going to be a game changer, it is almost as light as the 4.5" shrouded barrels on the market but this gives you the full 16" worth of barrel and rifling for much better accuracy and velocity. The barrel installed as expected and we only had to make a minor range adjustment to dial in his red dot sight. After that, he proceeded to torture test it firing close to probably 700 rounds in one shooting session. Accuracy was perfect, there were no issues with feeding or cycling. He shot a mix of standard and high velocity ammo without a noticeable shift in accuracy or cycling. We had 24 x 10 round magazines loaded up and he would run through them all just as fast as he could change magazines. He was working on transitions between targets and was pulling the trigger fast, so this means 240 rounds were fired in a very short period of time. With other barrels, the chamber/receiver area would be too hot to touch with this type of abuse, not to mention, the heat dissipation around the forehand becoming uncomfortable to shoot. I was completely surprised that the Spitfire Barrel was barely warm to the touch. I normally would let the rifle cool for 10 minutes or so before inserting a chamber flag, but with the Spitfire barrel, it was not an issue. This gives me high hopes for long term durability and consistent accuracy regardless of rate of fire. The barrel balances out the Tandemkross ManticoreX "chassis" perfectly, with the balance point at the pistol grip. It makes for quick transitions but steady enough to keep the red dot from bouncing all over the plates. It will be equally at home at action shooting competition or in the field harvesting ingredients for squirrel stew. We haven't testing it for long range accuracy yet, as his main focus is action shooting but we will get one set up for long distance at some point and I'm sure with the tensioned shroud it will perform!

Sweet!
I've been wanting to build a lightweight rifle for indoor silhouette shoots and this barrel fit the bill. Quality is excellent and the install was easy, especially paired with the Tandemcross VBlock and bolts. I couldn't be happier with the setup.

Lightweight + full length + MLOK!
Super light weight, especially when compared to a factory barrel. Dare I even say, as light as most of your traditional 4-6" barrels on the market. MLOK shroud holds true throughout heavy use. Clip-on PVS27 collimates well as long as you ensure the mlok slots are directly in-line with the receiver rails. zeros on attached LAM devices will hold true, as long as you ensure tightness of locking block (Tested with BE Meyers MAWL and L3 NGAL). Threaded end is a true 90* shoulder for easy of direct thread muzzle device and/or suppressor (tested with JK Armament and AB little bird suppressor). Great reliability with feeding and ejection with only 2 failure to feed (ammunition issue) on a batch of (5 boxes) 250 rounds of CCI standard velocity when used with a factory receiver and a Tandemkross bolt. 5 stars all across the board, however, I would NOT recommend mounting a bipod on the MLOK slots as it can cause POI shifts when preloaded (pretty obvious).
