The underside of the rail has a relieved ejection port area to provide a sure ejection of spent brass. This rail can be used with both fixed and adjustable iron sights in place. This gives you the option of removing your scope or red dot and using the iron sights without removing the rail. Rail
This is the perfect pic rail for the Ruger Mark IV Standard. It fits the pre-drilled holes on the gun perfectly. Also has a cut-out section directly over the ejection port which is a nice feature. Highly recommend.

TK rail
Installed the Shadow picatinny rail (red) on my new Ruger Mark IV hunter Talo. Paired this with a red charging handle from TK (also red) and they look great on the black model of the hunter. Mounted a previously owned burris fast fire on it. Have not shot it yet but looking forward to getting it out this spring.

JUNK, DONT BUY
The rail is ok but to mount it with the CHEEP slotted screws is the sigh of a VERY POOR DESIGN. I bought a Chinese rail for ten bucks just to to get the good torx screws it came with. I will NEVER buy anything from Tandemross again. Do. It Right the First Time.
