Had to wait till I tried this a second time, the first time using it I couldn't get it to work correctly. Trouble with the nut holder not staying on the nut throughout the procedure. Second time, painted a white mark on one of the hex points on the holder to count the one and a half turns. Then used needle nose pliers to snap the nut firmly into the holder.That was the charm. then worked perfectly. I was not seating the nut in the holder properly..

I haven't had a chance to use this tool yet but i have taken apart and cleaned the 1022 mags over the years without one and it is not a lot of fun reassembling them.I'm positive this handy little is going to make the job a lot more pleasant.Quality of tool seems quite good and durable just like a Ruger.

Excellent tool, if you own a 10/22 you need this to reassemble the magazines. Works great!!!! Tried it first without the tool and it was miserable.

They need to be tested before shipping, had a hard time it (fitting the nut) the plastic needed enlarging too tight.
