TANDEMKROSS 10/22® Double Kross/Magazine Assembly Tool Installation Instructions

At a Glance:

  • Simplify maintenance of rotary magazines
  • Glass-filled nylon and metal allen key
  • Compact and convenient to carry and store

The Magazine Assembly Tool with Pouch and Carabiner for Ruger® 10/22® from TANDEMKROSS is designed to make taking care of your rifle and its mags easy. If you’ve ever tried to disassemble a 10/22® rotary magazine, you know they come apart easily, but are tricky to put together.

This great tool kit allows you to easily take your rotary Ruger® 10/22® mags apart and put them back together with ease! Anyone firing large amounts of ammo (especially for competition) knows it’s important to regularly clean the insides of your magazines. Lots of .22LR ammunition can be waxy and that wax can buildup, causing magazines to become unreliable and lead to feeding failures. With this tool, that chore becomes much easier.

This tool is also a must-have for anyone repairing their magazines or building a TANDEMKROSS DoubleKross magazine. TANDEMKROSS’s Magazine Assembly Tool for Ruger® 10/22® can easily be stored and transported to the range, in the woods, or to your next match thanks to the included pouch and carabiner.

I don't know how you could dissasemble and reassemble the 10/22 magazines without this tool from Tandemkross. Thank you Tandemkross again for a great product that works.

Ingenious tool for an otherwise PITA task

There was never a simple or easy way to reassemble a ruger magazine once disassembled. And certainly there was no simple way to guarantee you had the right tension on the spring. This works absolutely perfectly and simply. Pure genious!

What a neat little tool! We use several of these in our shop all the time. I bought several just in case we tore it up or wore it out. We cant hurt it! This gizzie saves the fingers, saves on frustration and makes us more productive. A+ Product!

After attempting to re-assemble the Ruger magazine and having a part fly across the room never to be seen again, the Assembly Tool is a welcome aid. Not quite as easy perhaps as shown in the video but a useful accessory indeed.

Very disappointed in the absence of written instructions. Not everyone learns from videos or has a tablet around when using the tool.

Had to wait till I tried this a second time, the first time using it I couldn't get it to work correctly. Trouble with the nut holder not staying on the nut throughout the procedure. Second time, painted a white mark on one of the hex points on the holder to count the one and a half turns. Then used needle nose pliers to snap the nut firmly into the holder. That was the charm. then worked perfectly. I was not seating the nut in the holder properly..

I haven't had a chance to use this tool yet but i have taken apart and cleaned the 1022 mags over the years without one and it is not a lot of fun reassembling them.I'm positive this handy little is going to make the job a lot more pleasant.Quality of tool seems quite good and durable just like a Ruger.
