Various features of the Pistol Pal makes opening the takedown latch a snap, serve as a punch to drive out tight stubborn bolt stops and also has a self-contained tool for removing that pesky extractor! It even serves as a magazine loading assistant on MKIII™ magazines.
Sized to fit your shooting box, or in your pocket. This excellent tool was designed and is manufactured by a professional gunsmith on modern CNC machine tools. The body/punch is CNC machined from rugged, non-marring Delrin which is already used for many firearm applications today. The latch pull loop is heavy duty, braided stainless steel wire. Both the loop and tempered steel extractor tool are affixed to an Aluminum cap that screws into the top of the tool.
The "Pistol Pal" extractor tool also works great for the new Ruger® MKIV™ and MKIV™ 22/45™ pistols, to remove the extractor for changing to an aftermarket extractor and for cleaning.

I order this thinking it would server to replace several different items in my range bag. I was right, works great for a magazine speed loader (after you figure out how to hold it) It's also handy for a nylon punch & main spring removal aid. I haven't used it yet for any firing pin or other bolt related mods

I don't know why I did not purchase this tool sooner. It has made disassembly of my Mk II a simpler, easier task. It leaves no tool marks on the handle.

A must have for anyone with a Mark series Ruger. Makes taking the gun apart much easier and also helps when you want to replace your extractor. My mainspring housing is so tight I need to use the punch part and a light hammer. It doesn't mare the parts.

A "must have" Ruger Mk series tool
If you have a Ruger Mk series pistol (especially a I, II or III) then this tool ticks a lot of boxes. Watch the YouTube (link on the TK site) and you will see how an inexpensive tool can change how you look at the challenges of the earlier model Ruger disassembly and maintenance. I bought two! Awesome and simple in its design, highly recommended.
