The body/punch is CNC machined from rugged, non-marring Delrin which is already used for many firearm applications today. The latch pull loop is heavy duty, braided stainless steel wire. Both the loop and tempered steel extractor tool are affixed to an Aluminum cap that screws into the top of the tool.

Works like a charm

I have never owned a Ruger MK II before, and I didn't know what it took to disassemble them. Let me say that this tool makes it a snap to take it apart. I highly recommend buying one and putting it in your range bag!

Life saver when cleaning/replacing the extractor

Had a hell of a time removing my Mk.IV extractor before I realized I could use this tool for that purpose too!

Having several “Mark” series pistols, I find this little tool to be invaluable. Not only does it simplify the take-down process, but I find the extractor part of the tool to be a must have. Sure, you can do it with a big paper clip, but this allows the plunger to be depressed with one hand while removing the extractor. Life’s too short not to have this on your bench!

Unless you enjoy fumbling around like a monkey with a football, or reordering guns parts which you break/lose during your Mark IV disassembly/reassembly "learning curve" , BUY this handy little gizmo!

I looked at the tool for a very long time. I should have bought it a long time ago! If you own a Ruger Mark 1.2. or 3 just buy the tool. It helps with the take down, and if you ever have to replace your extractor its indispensable. Just Buy one, you won't regret it.

I order this thinking it would server to replace several different items in my range bag. I was right, works great for a magazine speed loader (after you figure out how to hold it) It's also handy for a nylon punch & main spring removal aid. I haven't used it yet for any firing pin or other bolt related mods
