Sized to fit your shooting box, or in your pocket. This excellent tool was designed and is manufactured by a professional gunsmith on modern CNC machine tools. The body/punch is CNC machined from rugged, non-marring Delrin which is already used for many firearm applications today. The latch pull loop is heavy duty, braided stainless steel wire. Both the loop and tempered steel extractor tool are affixed to an Aluminum cap that screws into the top of the tool.

The "Pistol Pal" extractor tool also works great for the new Ruger® MKIV™ and MKIV™ 22/45™ pistols, to remove the extractor for changing to an aftermarket extractor and for cleaning.

This is a very handy tool a must tool to keep in your cleaning supplies or tools that you would take to the range because with this tool it's so easy to use the looped in to pull open your main spring on your Ruger Mark series or you can also take it apart and there's a special size wire in there that will allow you to remove the extractor from the bolt

I have 2 of these, one for my bench, and one for my range bag. It makes disassembly of my ruger mk3 22/45 much easier.

A must have for compressing the extractor spring and plunger. Makes removing the extractor from the bolt a piece of cake!!

The pin used to remove the extractor is extremely difficult to use. I have messed with it on Ruger mkII, mkIII, & mkIV &the same result every time. I will stick with the method I have used for many years as a professional gunsmith. I will say that it's a novel idea. If it wasn't for that it would have received 5 stars. I haven't used the punch yet so I can't speculate on it being too short. Hope this helps ya'll.

A good tool to have in the cleaning kit. Been using a free paper clip for nearly 30 years but this is still worth the cost.
