The body/punch is CNC machined from rugged, non-marring Delrin which is already used for many firearm applications today. The latch pull loop is heavy duty, braided stainless steel wire. Both the loop and tempered steel extractor tool are affixed to an Aluminum cap that screws into the top of the tool.

The "Pistol Pal" extractor tool also works great for the new Ruger® MKIV™ and MKIV™ 22/45™ pistols, to remove the extractor for changing to an aftermarket extractor and for cleaning.

Worked as advertised. Very helpful with extractor removal & replacement. I found the the latch pull loop useful.

This will save your fingers and mags from damage while taking the spring pin out. The bolt pin is a great thing to have if you have to change an extractor. It's helped me for sure.

My hands are all beat up and my fingers don't bend right anymore. I purchased the Pistol Pal hoping it would make disassembly of my MkIII easier on my hands. The Pistol Pal worked like a charm for me. The Pistol Pal is easy for me to use and does it's job well. I am very happy with this purchase.

Many moons ago (21 years) I bought my Ruger MkII. I hate, and that is not an understatement, cleaning it. More specifically just the takedown. I stumbled on this little tool offered by TK and decided to try it out. I'm not going to tell you this solves all your woes, but they definitely thought it through when making this thing and the features on it really make this a must have for any MK series owner. You won't regret this purchase one bit.

I tried everything for days but nothing worked getting the MarkIV extractor out. YouTube was no help. First try with this little guy and it came right out! Amazing! Thanks.
