    I can't believe I didn't get this sooner. I recommend this to anyone that is tired of fumbling around trying to change the magazine and so easy to install !

    I recently purchased a 10 / 22 Backpacker, a great gun and lots of fun to shoot, with the only complaint being that the stock mag release and the holdback for the bolt weren't designed to be smooth and instinctive. You really need to "reach" for both the mag release and bolt holdback to operate the gun. I installed both a Fireswitch and the Tandemkross bolt keeper and they make a huge difference. With them you can actually "operate" the gun. Great purchase and an easy 5 stars.

    There are many aftermarket Ruger 1022 magazine releases that I have tried. The Tandemkross Fireswitch extended magazine release is by far the very best. I highly recommend buy one, you won t regret it.

    This thing is a game changer, and makes clearing the mag well a snap! I bought a 2nd one, in the hope that I can find a Takedown 10/22 to make my own . First mod will be the TK Extended Mag Release for sure.
