    Easy Installation

It only took a few minutes to install the Magazine Release. It works smoothly and helps get the magazine out of the weapon fast without having to look for the release.

Well i'ma not sure what to say other than I LOVE IT. My friend at the range said "Now that's the best part" I've seen you add to your Ruger 10/22. Everyone loves it and they don't have a Ruger 10/22.

Cool concept but does not work properly on my Ruger 10/22. Mags drop out or come loose just fine when pushing forward on the FireSwitch. Pulling it back, well, there is the rub. It only disengages about 2/3rds of the way needed to drop the mag. Have to pull hard and force the lever up to disengage fully and drop the mag. I have a Pike Arms Trigger group housing. It's CNC machined and very nice. Do not know if that is the big difference in the FireSwitch operation. A major bad point about this item is when the mag is fully seated the FireSwitch lever becomes loose and floppy. Just rattles about in normal mag in position. For me the FireSwitch is not confidence inspiring. Does not work as sold. To rattly loose and has just become a waste of money. Will be removing it and going back to a regular extended style mag release. Sorry but I did try it out. Just didn't work for me. Caveat Emptor.

After putting this on my rifle it made getting the mag's out so much easier. Now I can push it back instead of trying to get my finger under it and pull it forward.

    Great Upgrade

Posted by Bruce Firth on 2nd Mar 2017

Added "Fireswitches" on two Brimstone converted Ruger BX Triggers. They work great and are so much easier to work than the extended release that comes stock on the BX Trigger. Release lever works perfectly in either direction. After experimenting a bit, I've decided I'm a push person and not a pull person. One thing to be aware of is that the release lever blocks access to the bolt release from right side. You will need to retrain yourself to use your left hand to lock the bolt back if you've been doing it one-handed in the past. Something to think about if you are right-handed.

Installed with no problems. After about 10-12 mag changes the pin holding the two parts together fell out. The pin and lower lever dropped into the grass. Found the lower lever but not the pin. Purchase now useless. Also the lower lever extended excessively below the trigger guard.
