Mk-II Overhaul
I was surprised to find that the old rebound spring on my 18 year old MkII was considerably shorter than the replacements provided in this kit. Since the pistol was old, I replaced the spring, firing pin and extractor. (I also bought the tool for this purpose.) Excellent online instructions. Trouble-free repair. Pistol works great now! I'll check again in another 18 years :) PS: This is a very fine pistol.

Firing pins and springs.
I have three MK IIIs that I target shoot with regularly. I normally use a very inexpensive ammo and get a few FTF rounds. Whikch I just live with due to the cost. ($.02/round). To minimize the FTF I cleaned the bolts and replaced two of the three firing pins. The one that I skipped works 100% perfect so why mess with it? Nothing is likely to improve on that one. The other two are better and changing ammo brand, of course, helps big time. I am pleased with my Tandemkross upgrades. I love the MK IIIs and, once you get it, cleaning is routine. Tom in Georgia

Made a great gun perfect.
I got this and the acurizing kit w the red trigger. Install wasn't too bad. The engineering is incredible. Trigger pull is like a mouse click. It's impossible to describe a "feel". But this thing is amazing.

TK extractor fixed my Ruger Mk IV
My Ruger Mark IV was extremely inconsistent and unreliable . Every single failure imagineable was occurring. I installed the Tk extractor, firing pin, and rebound spring. It runs flawlessly now with any ammo above 1100 fps. I also installed the accurrizing kit. This gun went from the least reliable shooter to the most reliable, enjoyable one by using the TK upgrades.
