The factory extractor easily removed and this one easily installed with a dental pick. No problems after about 500 rounds.

Great upgrade to tune up your 10/22 for speed events..Stove-pipes on the clock are frustrating..This extractor eliminated that issue...Great value for the confidence it gives you when the timer starts.

All I can say is this really works. The shells eject and fly about 10ft. The OEM extractor would pop the shells out about 1ft. and sometimes fail to eject the shell.

Solved stove piping
Good quality product that solved my stove pipe jamming issues

small price to pay for reliability
Visibly higher guality than the stock extractor from Ruger. I didn't have any extraction problems with my 10/22, but I did with my Mark III 22/45 and the Talon extractor cured it immediately. Didn't hesitate for the upgrade on the 10/22 when I got it. small price to pay for added reliability.

The extractor seems to be well made,I think it's a little pricey for what it is and it does not come with the spring. So far it works good have to see what happens over time.
