Best upgrade for the 10/22!
I love the 10/22 platform, but the extractor on it (and the 22/45) is junk. The only ammo I could get to fire somewhat reliably was Remington Thunderbolt, which is filthy dirty. Even that has about a 5-10% FTE/stovepipe chance. I couldn't even think about using Federal. After installing the Talon, I shot 200rds of Federal without a single FTE. I almost cannot believe it. I have the same issue with my 22/45 Mark IV, so I'll be getting the Talon for that as well. Great job, TK!

This new extractor rips them spendt rounds right on out.my original was wore out I bet. Love this new one , easy enough to install.

Eagles talon extractor
I have had a custom 10/22 for 15 years, put together by myself. I’ve shot thousands of rounds. One of the only things that wasn’t changed from factory was the extractor. The first time I got to use it after extractor replacement was on a varmint, two quick shots both hits with the third one waiting in the chamber if needed. Will buy for rest of family’s 10/22’s.

Eagles talon extractor
This extractor is a must have part. Its a shame that ruger sells great guns with terrible parts that prevent the firearm from running reliably. The stock extractor is stamped steel which means that one side is rounded and therefore has mimimal “bite” on the cartridge rim. I could not fire 10 rounds with out having a “stovepipe” failure. After I installed the eagles talon extractor the gun runs great!

Good product
Made a huge difference in my 10-22. I have a 120rd drum magazine and was lucky to get 20 or even 10 rounds off without a failure to extract. After installing this extractor I went through the entire drum magazine with zero issues for the first time ever. Couldn't believe such a small change would make such a huge and noticeable impact.

Fits like a Glove
Recently replaced the extractor on my 10/22 as the stock one finally "extracted" itself during a weekend plinking excursion. The replacement dropped in really easy and works flawlessly, even better than the stock one. I would recommend this product.
