Talon Extractor
Wow! Really grips and tosses. Fixed my FTE problem. Now the empties fly out there about 5 feet! BUT you really need a special tool to install. You CAN do it w/o the tool, but the tool makes it a 3 minute changeout. Here it is: Gunsmither Pistol Pal Tool for Ruger Mark 1 2 3 both Standard and 22/45 Pistols. Wirthwein has them.

Great extractor as a replacement or upgrade. I only wish it was coated in a contrasting color other than black so we can tell it is not the original equipment

It's pretty well machined for how small it is. It hasn't failed me yet.

Extractor
Along with plunger and spring. This ruger extractor is rather crude and can fail. This extractor is more refined. It will eject the round everytime.
