This little guy is easy to install, I did it myself. This was for my sons new Ruger 10/22 build. He really likes it when bench shooting. He says its much easier to lock in the magwell by gripping the bumper.

Great addition to the most reliable 10 round magazines. I just installed a dozen of them on all my magazines. The also add some character to my long range 10/22 as well as my steel challenge tactical 10/22.

First off, this item seems to have recently been changed/updated. It is cosmetically different than when I first found this item, and its installation is different from all guides I've found in the past. As such, I could not find any installation instructions for this item. Thankfully, it was easy to figure out just with the supplied items and how it looks on the website. Installation took about 20 seconds with a screwdriver. This bumper does not affect lock-up or removal from the gun, but it adds a nice lever to hold on to. One of my mags doesn't drop free in my Ruger American Rimfire, so having little tabs on the side helps a lot. Overall I'm very pleased with the item, though I do wish there were installation instructions available. I'll be adding this to all of my 10 round mags.

I got some of these for my 10-22 race rifle. They make inserting a mag super easy. My mags just fall right out, but if one does get stuck it will be the easiest way to remove it. Great idea! Thanks TK

This product effectively addresses the occasional problem in 10/22 rifles of sticking magazines. I shoot a variety of Ruger and Volquartsen rifles that exhibit the issue of magazine hang ups and this corrects that problem by allowing you the purchase to easily pull it free. I bought one to test at SHOT and then followed up with an order of 5 so I can use it for upcoming NSSF Rimfire Challenge matches. They are worth every penny to ensure you can reload quickly in the field or during competitions when time is of the essence!

Overall Ruger does an excellent job of firearms design; however there are a few areas that need improvement to assist with functionality. One such area is 10/22 rotary 10 round magazine. TANDEMKROSS has corrected this problem very well with the TK mag bumper. It eliminates the impossible task of extracting a failed to eject magazine! I am a competition shooter and I decided to try one of the TK mag bumpers. Often the entire string of fire in a match is over in less than two seconds(no room for error). I'm glad that I installed the TK mag bumper, because I had a ammo malfunction & had to manually remove the stuck mag to clear the jam. The easy grip handle allowed me to avoid a disaster and to stay in first place!

Being able to feel where the magazine is, for a mag change, without having to take your head from that ideal cheek-weld, is a big help. Especially when wearing gloves. BX-10 mag changes are faster and smoother now, this is a highly recommended product.

This thing does just what it's supposed to. Protrudes a bit from the bottom of the rifle so you can get a better purchase on the magazine. Giving it four stars since I think the bottom could be finished better - a smooth bottom would be nice
