- Increase your magazine capacity
- Improve grip for magazine changes
- Includes magazine springs for extended life
The TaurusTX™ 22, the TANDEMKROSS Wingman +5 Magazine Bumpers are designed to increase your magazine’s capacity!
These bumpers extend the bottom of the magazine to allow for more grip and better handling. Even more importantly, the extended bumpers help with seating magazines securely into the pistol frame by providing extra material to “bump” them into a locked state.
From competition shooters to casual backyard plinkers, everyone can benefit from a two-pack of these simple-to-install upgrades.
The Wingman +5 Magazine Bumper for TaurusTX™ 22 also includes the upgraded magazine springs for reliable feeding and extended life!
Supported Models:
- TaurusTX™ 22 (factory 10- and 16-round magazines will increase to 21 rounds)
- TaurusTX™ 22 Competition (factory 10- and 16-round magazines will increase to 21 rounds)
- TaurusTX™ 22 Compact (factory 10- and 13-round magazines will increase to 18 rounds)
- TaurusTX™ 22 Gen 2*
NOTE: 22-round magazines for the Gen 2 Taurus TX™ 22 are 16-round magazine bodies with a 6-round extension. Installing the TANDEMKROSS Wingman +5 Magazine Bumper will reduce the magazine capacity from 22 rounds to only 21.
IMPORTANT: Each order will include two base pads and magazine springs as to successfully upgrade two magazines. To properly install the Wingman, you must remove the follower button. This will render the Loading Tool and Lanyard NOT compatible with Wingman+5 Magazine Bumpers.

TX 22 Wingman PLUS 5
Easy to install. You should mention that you will loose the mag tab that lets you load without a "loader." Have loaded them up a few times for practice. They seem to work ok. They look very clunky compared to the gun.

Works well with a caveat
Easy enough to install, cycles well with a caveat - the slide would consistently lock back with one round still in the magazine. Gun never behaved this way before installing the extensions. Contacted TK and they immediately sent out a shim kit to address the problem. The slide will still occasionally lock back with one round in one of the magazine with the shim in place. Overall satisfied, especially with TK’s exceptional level of customer service. Just know that if you experience the same issue as I had, TK will work with you on the matter.

Nice
Pretty easy to install and work flawlessly

21 rounds vs. loading
I just purchased 2 sets (4) Wingman extensions. Solid product, bumped 16 to 21 rounds, visually appealing. Have not used at range yet, only bumper bummer is you lose the round spring knobs, which are helpful to load mag. I would repurchase

Wingman +5
Fast shipping , easy to install on stock mags. I don't like losing the mag button to ease loading however a .22 LR round can be used as a temporary repeatable replacement. They look good too!

TX22 Wingman
As the TK motto states, “making good guns great”. This is an awesome addition to my new TX22. Ordered them the same week I bought the pistol, and they were at my house in less than one week. Very simple to install, and they work! Puts the 22 in the TX22 name now that you have 21+1 capacity. Lastly, getting 2 plus the springs for this low price, NO BRAINER!

TX22 Wingman mag extension
These seem well made and work as advertised. BHO still seems to work for now with new springs. To answer some of the questions below, you don't put the button back in because the follow drops below the slot it rides in so you have to leave it out. Also I wonder if the reviewer who could only get 18-20 rounds in made the same mistake I did. I put the bottom spring keeper back in when reassembling. I was only able to get 19 rounds in the mag. I realized my mistake on the second mag when I noticed it doesn't actually fit the new basepads. Once I assembled them correctly (without the bottom spring keeper), they hold 21 rounds.
