The TaurusTX™ 22, the TANDEMKROSS Wingman +5 Magazine Bumpers are designed to increase your magazine’s capacity!
These bumpers extend the bottom of the magazine to allow for more grip and better handling. Even more importantly, the extended bumpers help with seating magazines securely into the pistol frame by providing extra material to “bump” them into a locked state.
From competition shooters to casual backyard plinkers, everyone can benefit from a two-pack of these simple-to-install upgrades.
The Wingman +5 Magazine Bumper for TaurusTX™ 22 also includes the upgraded magazine springs for reliable feeding and extended life!
Supported Models:
- TaurusTX™ 22 (factory 10- and 16-round magazines will increase to 21 rounds)
- TaurusTX™ 22 Competition (factory 10- and 16-round magazines will increase to 21 rounds)
- TaurusTX™ 22 Compact (factory 10- and 13-round magazines will increase to 18 rounds)
- TaurusTX™ 22 Gen 2*
NOTE: 22-round magazines for the Gen 2 Taurus TX™ 22 are 16-round magazine bodies with a 6-round extension. Installing the TANDEMKROSS Wingman +5 Magazine Bumper will reduce the magazine capacity from 22 rounds to only 21.
IMPORTANT: Each order will include two base pads and magazine springs as to successfully upgrade two magazines. To properly install the Wingman, you must remove the follower button. This will render the Loading Tool and Lanyard NOT compatible with Wingman+5 Magazine Bumpers.

Mag base extension
The shim is the best part !!! It helps the follower be at the correct angle for feeding.

Wingman Install
Did not use the shims. Springs were a mess! Played spring search and find a few times. Will cover with a towel next time. Used the spring from 16 mag in 13 mag as the green spring looks too much for 13 mag. Tried with stock mag helper and it allows only a +1. Will remove for next mags. Looks good. Using Loctite Blue on screws. Try not to over torque! Can't wait for range time.

Better Fit than Factory 22 Round Mag for Gen 2
These work great on either the 16 round or 13 round mags and I like that they include a new springs. Easy to install and a 16 round mag with this extension fits better in my TORO Gen 2 than the 22 round factory mag that came with it and isn't as intrusive despite only 1 round difference. No misfed rounds on either a 16 or 13 round mag with these installed. Nice product that just does what it was designed to do without any problems.

Mag bumper
Easy to install on a mag, the length has taken some getting used to. Overall it has worked well with no cycling issues, I have about 12 load outs per mag now with no problems
