Looks good, reliability not so good

Posted by Gunner on 30th Jun 2022

I got these a while ago but recently ammo has become easier to acquire and finally got to try them out. For unknown reasons, one of them tends to get "stuck" and the bullets inside the mag become loose. I've changed out the wingman with different magazines and get the same results. The other one has had no issues, nor can I visually see a difference between the two but on the good one I managed to empty the mag 6 times without a single issue, zero for the one giving me trouble. Even though the one works well, based on the issue on the other, I cannot trust the wingman to be reliable so back to stock spring and plate for all my mags, shame.

Pretty easy install. This addition feels solid. Looks good and adds 5 rounds. Shot close to 300 rounds maybe more and they have performed extremely well

A little bit of work to put together, but seems very stable when done. Works great and is really nice to have bigger capacity. Looks really cool too.

    Ruger 57 base pad

Posted by Tim T on 6th Apr 2022

This base bad is amazing it comes with everything needed to install and you also get 2 for a really great price. Its very easy to install and sturdy. It gives my Ruger 57 a more agressive look while adding to the length to the grip for those big handed guys. It does hold the extra 5 rounds. Just amazing plus the price is mind blowing considering the cost of ammo
