How difficult is installation, and does it require gunsmithing or special tools?

The critical step is setting the pre- and post-travel adjustment screws correctly before use. Too much pre-travel adjustment can prevent the trigger from resetting, and too little post-travel clearance can cause issues during field stripping. Apply thread-locker to hold the position.
Will the Victory Trigger affect the TX22's reliability with different .22 LR ammunition?
No, the Victory Trigger replaces only the trigger shoe. It does not modify the striker, hammer spring, or firing mechanism, so your TX22's cycling and ignition with different .22 LR ammunition remains unchanged.

Great trigger
Along with the trigger spring and this trigger I now get a 3 lbs trigger pull. Doesn’t do much for take up but the break and reset are very good. Great upgrade to the TX 22. Highly recommended.

Slight improvement over stock trigger
Only noticed a slightly better trigger pull. The pre and post travel adjustment is definitely the best benefit. Trigger still feels gritty and somewhat vague, but great improvement on the travel.

The trigger is nice but the only thing I don't like is the adjustments. Set it put it together and try it. If not what you want take it apart and try again. other than that it's a nice trigger.
