Ease VS Money

This is by far the have to have accessory. Anyone owning a 10/22 should treat themselves to this titanium screw knob. Makes disassembly and assembly much easier. Cost is a bit much. Bite the bullet and make your cleaning easier. Make you problem less with take down. Worth it to me. I have 2.

No screw driver, no hex wrench, perfect if you need to accomplish a field takedown for cleaning. Especially suited for survival situations where you may not have access to tools. Definitely a worthwhile purchase

10-22 Twister take down screw

The twister takedown screw is absolutely a perfect fit form and function for the 10-22 Ruger rifles, I actually bought one for my Ruger carbine take down rifle. The TK delivery is incredible and packaged securely! When they say it’s going to be delivered by a certain day, it arrives a day sooner every time! You guys are stellar in every way! I ordered two of these for my 10/22's, one is older 22WMR. Had to do some grinding on the one for 22WMR, as the threaded area was too long for the application, it looks very good now. The takedown knob makes disassembly quicker and looks good.

Installed in my 10/22 takedown build. Works great in the Magpul backpacker stock. Looks great and simplifies stripping and cleaning the rifle. Which is what you are probably looking for if you have a takedown to begin with!

#1 Tandemkross would sell 5x more if it was stainless steel and price was 50% lower. #2 For those using the Magpul Backpacker stock, you can use two of these: one for the the receiver and another for the forend (it's the same screw). Everything is great except you got carried away using titanium and jacking the price.

I just received a Twister Takedown Knob for my 10/22 and the fit and finish of this part exceeds my expectations. It makes it easy to take the receiver and barrel out of the stock without any tools. I highly recommend!
