Machined from billet aluminum and cerakoted in black, the new Ruger® MKIV™ 22/45™ Thumb Rest from Striplin Custom requires no permanent modification to the gun’s frame and installs in minutes.

The thumb ledge offers an ideal thumb placement for a secure two-handed grip and provides consistent hand positioning and helps to control muzzle flip. The thumb rest also includes a new trigger pin and front lug screw.

This is a well designed product. High quality materials. Presicion made. No modification in gun to install. I highly recommend this product. All of my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lite has this.

I really like the Striplin thumb rest, but I wish the screw was longer.

Easy install, provides a very stable platform for your thumb, giving a very strong point of contact. I noticed my accuracy and precision improved significantly. It’s big, and will fit anyone’s thumbs, my hands are medium and it’s comfortable. Very well made, does not feel flimsy at all. Excellent relatively affordable upgrade to any 22/45/mark series.

This really made the gun very stable and easier to grip.. It’s a must buy item for your gun. The other thing is it’s easier to install too.

MKIV Thumb Rest

Really nice addition to my Speed Steel Challenge comp gun. This thumb "Rest" is anything but a GAS PEDDLE! The rest provides a platform for the shooter to apply positive pressure directly forward in a consistent manner allowing your to "Drive" the gun aggressively yet smoothly to the next target. Not a must have but for the price it's a no brainier. Super simple install too! So easy even an 0311 Marine can do it with breaking everything in sight!
