Machined from billet aluminum and cerakoted in black, the new Ruger® MKIV™ 22/45™ Thumb Rest from Striplin Custom requires no permanent modification to the gun’s frame and installs in minutes.

The thumb ledge offers an ideal thumb placement for a secure two-handed grip and provides consistent hand positioning and helps to control muzzle flip. The thumb rest also includes a new trigger pin and front lug screw.

Added this to my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lite, diffidently helps in keep you on sight and muzzle rise. It’s worth the investment on your Ruger Mark IV.

The part is well made and fits perfectly. It was quite comfortable from the start, and now I am not really even aware of it. Works as advertised, and I recommend it.

Great addition to my pistol. Fit and finish are great. Puts my thumb in the perfect position for a better grip on the gun. Highly recommend.

This product is excellent. Perfect fit and looks great. One benefit of the thumbrest, I’ve noticed is that it really helps new shooters establish and feel comfortable with a modern high grip. My friend hated holding the gun high with his support hand. He likes the weaver style stance. But after spending time shooting with this thumbrest, he totally gets it now. Perfect!

Excellent quality and just as advertised it improves your grip and control of the pistol, I ordered one to try it out on my pistol and my wife tried it and asked me to order one for her 22/45, we have Gad pedals on our SVIs 38 super race guns and figured we try something similar in our 22/45s, I am happy to say the rest works great!
