Awesome!
The grips are amazing

delighted doesn't capture it
Picked up this new grip for my TK Kraken/Ctulhu lower from TK at an event booth. Gosh, I thought that the Kraken was great by itself, but with this new grip, it's an experience on a different level. I admit I was a little hesitant based on the price, but, zero regrets, and my scores have definitely improved. The other pistols here are now jealous, sitting by themselves in the safe.

Tempest Grips
Since I shoot Steel Challenge, I don t need to make fast mag changes, but I was looking for something to provide a better grip of the gun. The texture of these grips combined with the magwell provide just that. The texture is grippy, but not abrasive, and the magwell provides a leverage point for the support hand. I think the price is a little high, but then these are made from machined aluminum so they are very high quality. The magwell works perfectly with my large magazine base pads.

Needs improvement IMO
I've been looking for a flared Maxwell for the Mark IV 22/45 since I bought it. I have even emailed various companies to make one so I jumped on this as soon as it was available. I used it once and returned it. It did not meet my expectations. I feel like it's a good start but there's still ledges that you can get hung up on. It really needs different magazine baseplates to work effectively too. That way it would truly allow for lighting fast reloads. I know this is a joint venture with another company and I hope they evolve this and introduce some new baseplates. It's very close to being excellent.
