This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

    I ordered this bushing from TK using this web-site. Could not have gone smoother! The item arrived quickly and was nicely packaged. The bushing I received was slightly loose and and had a bit smaller diameter than the factory bushing. I called TK and they sent me another bushing right away without waiting for me to return the first bushing. I spoke to Jake on the phone and he was extremely helpful and eager to make sure everything was OK. I couldn't ask for better customer service!! TandemKross is a great operation...products and customer service are second to none. I will buy from them again!

    installed on my Ruger 22/45 Lite and the magazine dropped easily like on my 1911s,so faster magazine reloading is not impossible anymore..highly recommended.

    I installed the mag disconnect in two 22/45 and am very happy with them. the instruction were easy to follow and they made both guns much more fun.

    I just received my bushing and installed it in my Mark III Hunter. It makes stripping my Ruger so much easier. My pistol fires at least as well as before and the magazine releases much better. I am extremely happy with my purchas and look forward to buying the Plus 1 Magazine Bumpers next payday. Great product at a reasonable price. Thanks

    Fixes the biggest issue with the firearm

    I received my firearm, used it and decided that it was great, except that it wouldn't drop the mags like I wanted to. After shooting I was on the internet and someone had posted this product. It was very reasonably priced, so I figured I would give it a shot. It was wonderful, it was fairly easy to install (just watch the youtube videos) and works great.

    With the bushing installed, the pistol behaves like I expect it to. No more stuck mags. Not difficult to install. I hadn't had a MK III apart in years and it only took 20 mins to get it done.

    Fast shipping. Great quality. Good fit. Appreciate the included step by step instructions for easy install. Works great, no reliability issues, greatly improves trigger pull-well worth the money for that. Mags insert easier and now drop free. Highly recommend to put into any MKIII
