I got this for a friend's Ruger 22/45. It makes charging it a lot easier. Well worth it.

Made a ton of difference on pulling back to slide comfortable wouldn’t mind if the edges are more rounded but worth purchasing. Glad I did it.

    CHARGING RING

Posted by ARNE JOHNSON on 19th May 2025

I initially wavered on purchasing this item due to the price. After pinching my thumb and realizing how sharp the edges on my MK IV 45/22 were, I decided to order. Happy with the purchase! Everyone who uses it comments on the ease of operation.

    HALO charging ring.

Ruger should partner with Tandemkross and make this a standard on every MKIV that goes out the door. You might say you don’t need the bling till you pinch your fingers a few times. IYKYK! Very lightweight. Install is a bit tricky but not hard. Changes the shooting experience of a MKIV almost entirely. Can’t rate durability because I just got it. Don’t see anything that can really hurt it short of dropping it. There’s a reason it seems to be the standard all similar products are measured against.

This ring was purchased for a Ruger Mark III 22/45 Lite. Installation was a breeze and the aesthetics and function of the weapon are perfect! Great engineering.

Mark III & IV Charging Ring

Posted by George on 2nd May 2025

Added the ring to my wife's Mark IV to help her with racking. It works very well for her. I have noticed an increase of cycling problems. This is somewhat ammunition related. We had run about 800 rounds of Norma Tac-22 with very few problems until adding the ring. Now we have cycling issues at least every 20 rounds. Switching to Aguila seemed to almost eliminate the issues.

    Overpriced

Posted by Chuck Peters on 1st May 2025

I like the halo.. and it's definitely a needed accessory for my the Ruger Mark iv Lite. But.. there are other cheaper options available to solve the problem. No way this is worth $49. Maybe $15.. at the most. I wouldn't buy it again.
