This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

A must have...
this is one of those "must haves" for your Mk III or Mk III 22/45, just makes the pistol so much easier to live with, I also installed the +1 pads on my magazine and it makes a huge difference in how they handle.

Speed Is Of The Essence
The Ruger Mk-3 Disconnect Bushing should have been an OEM Ruger part, but no, the bleeding hearts had to have their politically-correct two tcents and made another something a b*tch on wheels for the rest of us. Before you go attempting to slide this wonderful piece in the gunworks, you better practice taking the pistol apart and putting it back together as you would for a good cleaning. The pistol was designed and built for righties, and if you're a leftie you will get yourself gommed up trying to follow all the right hand directions. So practice, practice, and when you get proficient and rightly consternated about the damned magazine interlocks, go buy the tandemkross bushing and slide her in.

Magazine Disconnect Bushing
This is the cats meow I tell you. Very easy to install and fixes the problem with the magazine in my Ruger Mark III Target holding onto the magazine when I don't want it to. Magazines just pop out now. Also changed out the sear and trigger and this new pistol is now amazing. Believe me if I can do it anybody can. Watched videos and installing new parts was a breeze.
