Steel Hammer Bushing for Mark III and 22/45 Pistols

At a glance:
  • Magazines will slip right out
  • Easier takedown and cleaning
  • Can reduce failure to feeds
  • Comes with colored installation instructions

This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

*** ATTN: FAQ: Will this bushing work in my Volquartsen Hammer? YES. The bushing and VQ hammer will work together. However, it can be a tight fit to get them together. Please let us know if you are experiencing trouble and we will get you a bushing that will fit into the tighter VQ hammer.

    great customer service

Bought a disconnect bushing for my Dad's 22/45. Had a couple of issues with rounds not ejecting, ftf, the bolt not staying back after the last shot. I inquired about this on Rimfirecentral.com to explore the issues before contacting TK. I wanted to make sure it wasn't something on my end. Before I could contact TK directly they had seen my post and had another bushing in the mail to me. Crazy good customer service. They have my business and I will refer anybody who may be able to use their products. Great job TK

    The Best

The magazine disconnect bushing was a perfect fit, and the video made the installation a snap. We all know the Ruger is a pain in the ass to break down, so removing the disconnect makes it that much.easier to do when you been to pull the trigger w/o having to reinstall the magazine. This should be the first.thing you do after you open the box. Fantastic product and support.

I wanted to replace the magazine safety on my Ruger 22/45 Lite. At first I tried using washers to fill in the space that the magazine safety lever took up but that sometimes would not let the hammer reset. Decided to buy the Tandemkross hammer bushing and see how it would work, After I ordered it I had it within 4 days. Outstanding customer service. The bushing works fine no more hammer reset problems. Would definitely recommend the bushing and Tandemkross customer service.

Works great, with mags falling out with a touch of a button. Good product at a good price. Easy to install.

    Hammer bushing

This bushing does what it says and is worth every cent. I tried going the factory route with Rugers Mark II bushing. While it worked there was more slop than I would have liked to have and had a large flange that seem to throw off a proper fit. The Tandemkross bushing fit better and works like a charm. I would recommend it to anyone.

No Lies - Drops out the way it should

This was the first time I had "fully" disassembled my MK3 22/45 polymer frame and of course the safety came out. I had a little trouble getting it back in. Also had issues with the main spring closing, but that was also my fault. A quick phone call to TK, and they knew exactly what the problem was! GREAT customer service! If all you want is to get your mag to drop out, buy this. Now I'll be ordering more items from TK knowing now how quickly they ship, and awesome their service is. Their shop is about 45minutes from me, but the shipping is less than the gas $ for my truck. Thanks!

This little piece of metal makes cleaning this gun so much easier.I'm sure someone was behind Ruger making this gun th way they had to but this corrects the problem.

    Awesome

This bushing does the trick. I watched the video on the youtube channel and followed it step by step. Nothing flew out at me or got lost. Now that its in the magazine slides right out and its a joy to take apart and put back together without using the empty clip. Cant wait to buy more upgrades.
