This gives you the option of removing your scope or red dot and using the iron sights without removing the rail. My second order from TK and another winner. Great customer service, fast shipping and excellent product. The Shadow Picatinny is excellent- fits perfectly, installs easily and has a beautiful finish as well as fit. All edges are smooth and with a radus so no fear of scratching the firearm. Fit and finish is consistent perfect over the entire piece. Had it to the range already and it holds the optic prerfectly.

Shadow Picatinny rail for Ruger Mark IV
I chose this rail over a Ruger factory part because it has a groove that allows you to use your vis sights. It also is the right length snd color for my Hunter model. Worth the extra cost.

Worked great. Installed it on a winchester 9422. Small, perfect for the Aimpoint T1 that I put on it. Can still see the iron sights if I remove the red dot. Love the rail.
